Das Klangkunst Projekt URBAN AUDIO befasst sich mit der musikalischen Transformation der Geräuschkulisse des Stadtraumes. Mit speziell für diesen Zweck entwickelten Saiteninstrumenten werden Geräusche in musikalische Klänge übersetzt. Der Prozess erfolgt analog und ohne Zuhilfenahme von digitalen Effekten.

Das Resultat sind ortsspezifische Symphonien deren kompositorische Struktur direkt aus der akustischen Struktur des Stadtraumes hervorgeht.

Für das Projekt URBAN AUDIO borderland wurden im Mai 2017 Aufnahmen an mehreren Orten in den Grenzstädten Selb (D) und Aš (CZ) aufgezeichnet und zu einer einzigen Komposition zusammengefügt.

Projekt zvukové tvorby URBAN AUDIO se zabývá hudební transformací zvukového městského prostoru. Se speciálně navrženými strunnými nástroji je šum překládán do zvuků. Proces probíhá analogicky a bez pomoci digitálních efektů.

Výsledkem jsou symfonie specifických lokalit, jejichž kompoziční struktura vychází přímo z akustické struktury městského prostoru.

Pro projekt URBAN AUDIO borderland byly nahrány záznamy v několika místech v pohraničních městech Selb (D) a Aš (CZ) v květnu 2017. Nahrávky byly sloučeny do jedné skladby.

The sound art project URBAN AUDIO is engaged with the musical transformation of the soundscape of urban spaces. With specially designed string instruments, noise is translated into sounds. The process takes place analogously and without the aid of digital effects.

The result is site specific symphonies whose compositional structure emerges directly from the acoustic structure of the urban space.

For the project URBAN AUDIO borderland, recordings were made in several places in the border towns Selb (D) and Aš (CZ) in Mai 2017. The recordings were combined to one single composition.
